Privacy policy and terms of use.
How this website handles personal information, what we send and why, and the terms that govern use of the site. Effective 24 September 2026.
Privacy policy
Effective date: 24 September 2026. This policy explains how Entomo Farms collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information through this website, entomofarms.com, and through the email and newsletter channels linked from it. “Entomo Farms”, “we”, and “us” mean Next Millennium Farms Inc., the company that operates under the Entomo Farms name from Norwood, Ontario, Canada. We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
1. What this policy covers
It covers this website, our business inquiry form, our newsletter, and email correspondence with us. It does not cover purchases of our retail products, which are made on Amazon Canada and Amazon USA under Amazon’s own privacy notice, and it does not cover other websites we link to.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you send a business inquiry, we receive the details you enter: your name, company, work email address, what you need, and your message. When you subscribe to the newsletter, we receive your email address and, if you provide it, your name. When you email us, we receive whatever you choose to include.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs when you visit: the IP address of your device, the browser and operating system you use, the pages you request, the referring page, and the date and time. We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand in aggregate how the site is used: which pages are visited, for how long, and from which regions and devices. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes your IP address; we do not use it to identify you personally and we do not combine it with the details you give us.
We do not collect payment information, government identifiers, or precise location on this website, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your inquiry and, if you become a customer, to plan, produce, document, and ship your order.
- To send you the newsletter you asked for.
- To keep the site secure, diagnose problems, and understand how it is used so we can improve it.
- To meet legal obligations, including food-safety record keeping where an inquiry becomes an order.
We rely on your consent for the newsletter and for analytics cookies, and on the reasonable business purposes above for everything else. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that affect you.
4. Newsletter and commercial electronic messages
We send the newsletter only to people who have subscribed (express consent under CASL) or who have an existing business relationship with us. Every newsletter identifies Entomo Farms as the sender, gives our contact details, and carries an unsubscribe link that works within ten business days, usually immediately. You can also unsubscribe by emailing info@entomofarms.com. We use Klaviyo to store subscriber lists and send the newsletter; Klaviyo processes that data on our behalf and stores it on servers in the United States.
5. Who we share it with
- Service providers that process data for us: our website host (DreamHost), our email newsletter platform (Klaviyo), and our analytics provider (Google). Each is bound to use the information only to provide its service to us.
- Amazon, when you follow a link to buy a product. From that point Amazon’s privacy notice applies; we receive no personal information from Amazon about your purchase.
- Authorities and advisers where the law requires it, to respond to a lawful request, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
- A successor if the business or a part of it is sold or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred.
6. Where it is stored
Our website is hosted in the United States, and some of our service providers store data there. Personal information stored outside Canada is subject to the laws of that country, including lawful access by its authorities. We choose providers that commit to protecting the information they process for us.
7. How long we keep it
Inquiry details are kept for as long as we need them to respond and, where an inquiry becomes a business relationship, for the life of that relationship plus the period our record-keeping obligations require. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, after which your address is retained only on a suppression list so we do not email you again. Server logs and analytics data are kept for limited periods set by the provider, then deleted or aggregated.
8. How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to inquiry and subscriber data is limited to the people who need it to respond to you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
9. Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw consent for the newsletter or for analytics, and ask us to delete information we no longer need. Write to info@entomofarms.com; we respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
10. Cookies
This site uses two kinds of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working, for example remembering a form you have started. Analytics cookies, set by Google Analytics, help us count visits and understand usage; you can block or delete them in your browser settings or with Google’s opt-out tools, and the site will keep working. We do not use advertising cookies.
11. Links to other sites
Links to Amazon, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other sites take you to services with their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
12. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change and show the effective date at the top. Material changes are announced on this page.

Terms of use
Effective date: 24 September 2026. These terms govern your use of entomofarms.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
1. The site and its content
The site describes Entomo Farms’ products, services, and facility, and provides a way to contact us. Its content, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, and the Entomo Farms name and marks, belongs to Entomo Farms or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view, download, and print pages for your own evaluation of our products and services. You may not reproduce, republish, or use the content for any other purpose without our written permission.
2. Product information
Product descriptions, compositions, and nutritional values on this site are taken from our product specifications at the time of publication and are provided for information. The specification sheet and certificate of analysis supplied with an order govern that order. Nothing on this site is medical or dietary advice. Read the allergen statements: our products contain crickets, and people who are sensitive to shellfish and crustaceans may react to them.
3. Inquiries and orders
Sending an inquiry through this site does not create a contract. Orders, prices, lead times, and terms of supply are agreed in writing between Entomo Farms and the customer, and those written terms prevail over anything on this site. Retail products are sold on Amazon under Amazon’s terms of sale; Entomo Farms does not process payments on this site.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site or the inquiry form to send unlawful, misleading, or abusive material, to interfere with the site’s operation or security, to scrape or harvest information from it, or to send unsolicited commercial messages to us or through us.
5. Links to other sites
The site links to third-party sites, including Amazon and social networks. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.
6. Disclaimer
The site is provided as is and as available. We work to keep it accurate and available but do not warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components, and we may change or remove content at any time.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Entomo Farms is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the laws of Ontario or Canada, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
8. Governing law
These terms and any dispute about the site are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction.
9. Changes
We may update these terms and will show the effective date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
