Crickets on the menu at CIA
There were bugs in my ice cream. Crickets, to be specific.
It may sound like an episode of “Fear Factor,” but it was all part of Vassar College’s first food symposium, on “Building Food: Food, Space, and Architecture,” at the Alumnae House April 7-8. The pièce de résistance at the luncheon on day two was ice cream featuring crickets in not one, but three forms.
