Maple Butter Cricket Clusters
Thank you to our customer World To Feed for this delicious recipe for Maple Butter Cricket Clusters. Don’t let the word ‘butter’ fool you, this recipe is 100% dairy free. The ‘butter’ is actually whipped Maple Syrup!
Ingredients:
- 150 g Maple Syrup (whipped)
- 1 cup Mealworms or 1/2 cup Crickets
- 1/4 cup Sunflower Seeds
- 1/4 cup Cashews
- 1/2 cup loose broken small bar Pretzels
- 1/4 cup small chopped Craisins
Directions:
- In a mixing bowl whip the Maple Syrup very well
- Mix in the Mealworms or Crickets until they are coated evenly
- Add the Sunflower Seeds and mix well again
- Add in the Cashews, Pretzels and Craisins and mix well again
- Cover for 10 minutes
- Take thumb-sized clumps of mix and place on low heat (95F) in a food dehydrator for 12 hours
