Breakfast Bowl

This bowl is packed with cricket powder (cricket flour) for protein, antioxidant rich berries, fiber, calcium and iron packed spinach and topped with pecans for added vitamins A, B, and E and zinc, magnesium and folic acid. This nutrient rich breakfast will get you through the day, which for me might consist of going to the dog park, the Yankee game, and a Vibrational Healing Yoga session!
Ingredients
The recipe is below:
2-4 Tbsp (20-40 g) cricket flour (cricket powder)
1 small handful spinach
1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen berries
1/2 cup full fat coconut or unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup water
Optional additions: 1 tsp Maca Powder, 1 Tbsp Cacao Powder, 1 tsp chia seeds, 1 Tbsp. honey
Directions
Add all ingredients in a blender and combine. Top with pecans, chia seeds, almonds, walnuts, hemp seeds, banana, berries, or granola!
Recommendation: start with 2 Tbsp. (20 g) Cricket Flour(cricket powder) and work your way up to 1/4 cup (4 Tbsp, 40 g) for more protein.
