Thank you to our customer, Sara, for this unique and mouth-watering recipe. The cricket powder (cricket flour) gives this traditional chocolate mug cake a trendy twist, and packs it with some delicious nutrients!

Ingredients

3 Tbsp oat fiber (normal flour should work as well, though I haven’t tried it)

2 Tbsp (20 g) cricket powder (cricket flour)

2 Tbsp cocoa

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp Gluccomannan

1/4 tsp salt

1 Tbsp egg white protein (or 1 egg white)

2 Tbsp Splenda (or sweetener of choice to taste)

1 tsp vanilla

1 Tbsp applesauce (or yogurt or oil)

Dash vinegar
Dash butter extract (optional)

Few shreds of zucchini (optional)

Handful of chocolate chips (optional)

Directions

Mix ingredients well, microwave for 2 minutes in shallow bowl. Top with anything/everything and devour!
