Thank you so much to our customer Annie Olivia @annevranic for posting this recipe for delicious Breakfast Energy Balls that uses the goodness of Cricket Powder. Quick, easy and chock full of healthy and tasty ingredients that keep you powered up all day long!

Annie has the following recommendations:

  • Use an ice cream scooper for consistent ball size
  • The balls typically last 7-10 days in the fridge
  • Honey can be substituted with maple syrup or agave
  • She use Entomo Farms Cricket Powder and Sproos Collagen

Breakfast Energy Balls


  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 3 Tbsp Organic Cricket Powder
  • Scoop of Collagen Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Raw Honey
  • 1/2 cup Nut Butter (pumpkin, almond or peanut butter)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • *Optional: dark chocolate chips, toasted coconut


  1. In a mixing bowl, stir together the nut butter, honey and vanilla extract
  2. Add the oats, chia, salt, cinnamon (and chocolate, coconut if applicable) and mix
  3. Chill the mixture for 30 minutes
  4. Roll into bite-sized balls, then store in the fridge
